About MAY WAY
This is my story
My Passion for Travel
My love for travel started at a young age. Family trips to India and South Korea sparked my curiosity about the world and laid the foundation for my own adventures, which began when I was eighteen.
My first major journey took me to Tanzania, where I volunteered in a childcare project. Two years later, I returned for three months to help establish a project that gave street children access to education. Not long after, I embarked on my first solo backpacking trip through Peru, including a multi-day expedition deep into the Amazon rainforest.
Since then, I have explored more than 35 countries. From backpacking across Southeast Asia for four months to spending a month travelling New Zealand by campervan, every journey has shaped who I am and deepened my passion for discovering the world.
My Work as a Travel Specialist
My passion for travel naturally evolved into a career as a travel specialist. This allowed me to personally explore incredible destinations, activities and hidden gems across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Indonesia.
I helped hundreds of travellers design their dream holidays by sharing first-hand advice and creating personalised itineraries based on their interests, travel style and budget.
I also guided Working Holiday travellers through every step of starting their new life in Australia. From organising essentials such as TFN applications and CVs to providing practical advice on jobs, accommodation and everyday life, my goal was to help every traveller begin their adventure with confidence.
